Luis has extensive experience in economic concentration, commercial arbitration, mergers and acquisitions, and real estate law. He has worked at the ICC International Court of Arbitration and has been an associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators since 2007.
He was a founding partner of Santos & Partners and a partner at a renowned Mexican firm, where he led the antitrust practice.
Luis has participated in high-profile transactions such as the joint venture between Duhamel Cable and Telecab (now Izzi), acquisitions for Henkel and Pernod Ricard, and the Continental–United Airlines merger. In the litigation area, he has defended companies in investigations into antitrust practices in sectors such as aeronautics and LP gas, and has pioneered immunity programs.
