
Practice: Alternative Dispute Resolution and Arbitration
Juan Manuel began his study and application of Alternative Dispute Resolution Methods (ADR) in a wide variety of settings, including family, school, community, prison, and business settings, cementing a career that now spans three decades of experience as a consultant.
With a solid scientific background, having earned a degree in oceanology with a specialty in marine biology from the Autonomous University of Baja California, Lobo Niembro developed a cross-cutting vision that has led him to position himself as a consultant who offers comprehensive solutions.
His ability to combine risk analysis, prevention, and negotiation strategies has allowed him to advise the most important companies and industries in a wide variety of economic sectors, including construction, strategic input suppliers, the financial sector, and real estate developers.
He is a consultant in Leadership, Communication (NLP), Negotiation, Collaboration, Mediation, and Restorative Justice. A founding partner of the first Certified Private Mediation Center in the state of Nuevo León, he is certified as a private mediator/conciliator by five states (Nuevo León, Coahuila, Tamaulipas, Yucatán, and the State of Mexico).
He participated in the development of the EC 1250 Competency Standard "Conciliation for the Resolution of Labor-Related Conflicts" within the competency management committee of the Ministry of Labor of the State of Mexico and sponsored the implementation of the Peer Mediation and Restorative Justice program in the penitentiary system of that entity.
