
Practice: Anti-trust and Competition Law
With over 15 years of experience in antitrust, Abel has advised and represented national and international clients before antitrust authorities and specialized courts, in addition to leading internal audits and designing compliance programs.
He has participated in significant transactions, investigations, and litigation for companies such as Banca Afirme, American Express, Mexico City International Airport, Grupo Traxión, Nadro, Chevron, Altan Redes, Planigrupo, DHL, Prudential, Greystar, and LP gas distributors, among others. He has led audits and compliance programs in diverse industries, including audiovisual content, beverages, pharmaceuticals, and consumer products. Some of these cases have set precedents in Mexican competition law.
His professional career includes experience as a public servant at the Federal Competition Commission and as a senior associate at an international law firm.
