With over 24 years of experience in antitrust, consumer protection, and regulatory compliance, Ismael has advised national and international clients on mergers, antitrust investigations, and public procurement proceedings.

 

He has held senior management positions at the Federal Competition Commission (COFECO) and the Federal Economic Competition Commission (COFECE), in addition to serving as a partner in specialized firms and responsible for legal and compliance areas in the public and private sectors.

He has represented companies in strategic transactions such as the alliances between Aeroméxico and Delta; the acquisition of Monsanto by Bayer; and transactions involving Banco Santander and América Móvil, among others.

 

In addition, he has participated in high-profile litigation investigations in sectors such as aviation, finance, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, agri-food, and airport services, among others.

 

In compliance matters, he has designed and reviewed programs for major national corporations such as América Móvil, Santander, Prosa, Monsanto, Aeroméxico, and Grupo Modelo.
